When the file has been downloaded you now need to “right-click” on the file and click on “open with”. So when you on the internet you need to download your video by right clicking the file and “save as” and it will save the video to your computer. Look in the director as you will see a video shown as a “yellow cone” which means that that file is played with VLC. As an example when you look in your file directories you will notice that each video has a symbol displaying which video player has been set for it. Which video player gets used you have set on your computer. Firstly you are more likely than not streaming off the internet. Can anyone give me step by step instructions to change download to VLC Media Player….I’m a newbie….Thankd you !!!!

Question : How do I get movies to download on VLC media player instead of Windows Media Player? Movies have been automatically downloading to Windows Media Player……all I get is audio…no video.
